 Actavis (Foshan) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (Actavis Foshan hereinafter) is a joint venture between Actavis Group and Foshan Chanbende Development Co., Ltd. Actavis Foshan is an important manufacturing site of Actavis Group in Asia. Its registered capital is 24.5 Million US Dollars, 2.45 Million US Dollars of which are Chinese investment, and 22.05 Million US Dollars are Actavis Investment. The plant locates in Foshan Guangdong, with an area of 38000 M2 and a crew of 300 employees.
The plant is equipped with facilities imported from the US, Germany, America, etc and other lab instruments, and HVAC systems, which ensure production activities are performed in an environment conforming with cGMP. All dosages forms are GMP certified. Main business cope is production and sale of chemical finished products, TCM, and health care products. Actavis Foshan is developing new products to meet market demand.
Categories of products of Actavis Foshan fall into anti-biotics, digestive systems, cardiovascular system and vitamin, etc. Dosage forms includes tablet, soft gel capsule, hard capsule, oral solution, dry suspension, ointment, and liniment, etc, with 118 products. Annual capacity is 2 billion tablets and 1 billion hard capsule and soft gel capsule.
Actavis Foshan will reinforce R&D and upgrade GMP level to reach EU standard and FDA standard. And Actavis will take full advantage of local and global resources to further expand our market share, to expedite exportation progress, so as to become a leading company in the development, manufacturing and sale of quality products in global generics market.
